Careers Morning

We are delighted to invite Year 10/11 staff, Career Professionals and Career Leads to join us for our Coffee, Cake and Careers Morning on 12th March 2025.
Due to the success of our last Coffee, Cake and Careers Morning, we are running the event again. For those of you that couldn’t attend last time, we would love for you to join us.
The event will be held at our Askham Bryan College, York campus on Wednesday 12th March 10am – 12pm.
The morning aims to share all the latest news and developments at Askham Bryan College, with talks from our Apprenticeships and Foundation Learning departments. It will also be a chance to network with those in similar roles, get a demo of our new Virtual Reality equipment and of course meet some of our amazing animals in the Wildlife Park.
Event Schedule
9:45am – Arrive and sign in at Reception.
10:00am – Coffee, Cake and Welcome from the Student Recruitment Team.
10.15am – Learn more about Apprenticeships, Foundation Learning and our Inclusive Services.
10:45am – Introduction to our VR Suite and Tractor, Ambulance and Racing Car simulator demonstration.
11:15am – A tour of our extensive campus to include a visit to our Wildlife and Conservation Park.
12:00pm – Finish
Tea, coffee and light refreshments will be served. Due to limited numbers, bookings will be on a first come first served basis.
