Work Placements
All students who study at Askham Bryan College are required to undertake some work experience. Most students complete between 150 and 315 hours of work placement each year. We aim to match students with a high quality placement to help them enhance the knowledge and skills they gain in College and to help them become ‘work ready’. If you would like to offer a student a meaningful, high quality work placement, please contact our Employability department: careersandemployability@askham-bryan.ac.uk Our dedicated Work Placement team will contact you to discuss the requirements of the placement and arrange to visit you before the student joins you.

We run regular careers events involving employers. The next events will be in the 2023-24 academic year.
