This qualification offers essential study skills and foundational vocational knowledge needed to progress to Level 2 study or employment in animal care and related industries. This is a part time flexible programme involving hands-on skills with some home and independent study.

In-Centre: Tuesday and Wednesday’s 10am-4:00pm
Online Lessons: Thursdays 10:00-2:00pm
Home Study: 6 hours per week

Work Experience
This will depend on learner area of interest and availability.
For 19+ learners, the course is Free if you meet entitlement requirements. For example- British Citizen/ Residency in the UK for 3 years, unemployed, on benefits or a low income. If none of these apply, a fee will be charged.
