Arable course manager wins prestigious award

Congratulations to Amy Guymer, Arable Course Manager, on winning the highly contested Women in Farming award at the Northern Farmer Awards on Thursday, February 20th, at the Pavilions of Harrogate, Great Yorkshire Showground.

This award is a testament to her relentless hard work and dedication at Askham Bryan College through her teaching, as well as on her family farm.

Amy Guymer said “I am truly honoured to have been nominated, let alone to receive this award. It is inspiring to see more women entering our industry, and I hope they find the same encouragement and inspiration that I did from my peers and mentors during my time at college. Many remarkable women have already made significant contributions to our field, and I am confident that even greater achievements lie ahead.”
