Anna Pickard

Anna has extensive experience in Marine Ecology with a background in rewilding projects in North Yorkshire.
Anna has investigated the impacts on biodiversity in marine protected areas in the South of Arran, and has extensive knowledge of statistical analysis and data management. Anna has volunteered with the Marine Conservation Society for a number of years; organising beach cleans, ecological surveys and educational talks.
Annaβs primary interests lie in ecological niche sampling specifically in coral reefs, understanding the impacts of the Anthropocene on the marine environment. She takes on the role of module leader for the Marine Conservation and River and Ocean system modules, demonstrating her commitment in these areas.
