Transport
Booking for 24/25 transport for our York campus is now open via the link below. IMPORTANT – In order to purchase your bus pass, you will need to have a place on a course at Askham Bryan College and a Student ID number to apply
Askham Bryan College offers transport to and from College for students enrolled on our courses. We work with local coach partners to provide efficient and reliable transport to and from our York and Middlesbrough locations and operate from designated points around the Yorkshire region. The college’s bus services operate Monday to Friday and during term times only.
All college buses drop off and pick up from the campus and the return journeys follow the same routes as the inward journey. Current routes are constantly reviewed with new routes developed throughout the year; we would advise you to get in touch and let us know where you will be travelling from so we can assess your individual need. Whatever your transport query, we will try to help wherever possible.
Transport fees will be applicable to all students enrolled from September 2024. Askham Bryan College will subsidise the majority of the total cost of transport to help ensure that the travel fees for our students are as low as possible and that we continue to offer a cost effective, safe and comfortable method of travel to and from our campuses.
For students travelling to our York campus, costs will vary determined by distance from the designated pick-up point. There is a flat fee for students who use our transport providers to our Stewart Park, Middlesbrough locations.
Transport applications will be open from July 2024. If you would like any further information on transport, please contact our Transport Team by email: transport@askham-bryan.ac.uk or call 01904 772225.
